The symbols below indicate whether a segment of roadway is open, under construction, or closed due to construction. Roadway conditions from construction activity are updated as conditions change. Refer to this information frequently as construction progresses to help plan your commute.

I-30 Eastbound Mainlanes work ongoing or starting soon Overnight, Monday, September 8, 7 PM to 6 AM: Eastbound I-30 will be reduced to one lane from Cooper St through FM 157/Collins St. Construction crews will be shifting all eastbound traffic onto pavement previously used for westbound traffic. The eastbound exit for FM 157/Collins Street will also be closed during this period. Alternate exit is Cooper Street. EXPECT MAJOR DELAYS. SEEK ALTERNATE ROUTES.

Monday, September 8: The I-30 eastbound exit ramp for Nolan Ryan Exressway will be removed from service. The new exit ramp is anticipated to be opened in spring 2009. Alternate exits during this period are FM 157/Collins Street and SH 360/Six Flags Drive.

FM 157/Collins Street entrance ramp is closed. Alternate entrance ramps are at Cooper Street and the intersection of Copeland Road and Convention Center Drive.

Nolan Ryan Expressway entrance ramp is closed. Alternate entrance ramp is located at the intersection of Copeland Rd and Convention Center Dr.

Ballpark Way exit is permanently closed. Use Collins St or Nolan Ryan Expressway as alternate exits. 		Prepare to shift traffic to north side of current I-30 median onto existing pavement.. Crews will begin major excavation operations bewteen Nolan Ryan Expressway and FM 157/Collins Street after traffic is switch to the north side of the mainlane area. During this time, crews will continue drainage improvements, construt retaining walls, and place new eastbound mainlane pavement.
I-30 Westbound Mainlanes work ongoing or starting soon Overnight, Sunday, September 7, 7 PM to 6 AM: Westbound I-30 will be reduced to one lane from Ballpark Way through Center St. Construction crews will be shifting all westbound traffic onto temporary pavement. The westbound entrance for FM 157/Collins Street will be closed during this period. Alternate entrance is Cooper Street. EXPECT MAJOR DELAYS. SEEK ALTERNATE ROUTES.
 Prepare to shift traffic to north side of mainlanes onto temporary pavement.  
I-30 Eastbound
Frontage Road		 All lanes open   Future frontage road is being constructed from Cooper St to Center St bridge.  
I-30 Westbound
Frontage Road		 All lanes open   Preparing temporary exit and entrance for FM 157/Collins Street.

Eastbound frontage road is being constructed with new entrance and exit ramps located between the FM 157/Collins Street bridge and the intersection with Nolan Ryan Expressway.		  
Wet 'N Wild Way lane or lanes closed now June 30 through August: Wet-N-Wild Way will be closed from FM 157/Collins St to the southwestern driveway of Country Inn & Suites for complete pavement reconstruction.. The westernmost portion of this road is being reconstructed from FM 157/Collins Street to the Country Inn & Suites.

 Wet-N-Wild Way will converted from partial two-way, to fully one-way frontage road from Ballpark Way to FM 157/Collins St in mid-September.

September: Crews will begin storm sewer improvements near the intersection of Baird Farm Rd, requiring single lane closures.

Late October/Early November: Crews will be constructing the north side of the new westbound frontage road, including driveway connections. The interesection with Baird Farm Rd will be closed and limited ontly to westbound movement on the frontage road.
Ballpark Way All lanes open     Crews will complete drainage improvements with Johnson Creek.
Baird Farm Rd All lanes open     The intersection with Wet-N-Wild Way (westbound frontage road will be closed beginning late October or early November.
FM 157/Collins St All lanes open     Paving work between Lamar Blvd and Wet ‘N Wild Way expected to begin fall 2008.
Center St lane or lanes closed now The extension of Center St north of Road to Six Flags is closed. Preparing for permanent pavement approaching the bridge from the north and south.  
Cooper St All lanes open      
Ryan Plaza Dr lane or lanes closed now July through October: The section between Lincoln Dr and Guitar Center is closed as crews work to place new permanent pavement connecting Center Street to FM 157/Collins Street, and create a terminus for Ryan Plaza Court. Water crews are relocating lines in this area. Crews are preparing to place new permanent pavement connecting Center Street to FM 157/Collins Street, and create a terminus for Ryan Plaza Court.  
Lincoln Dr All lanes open   Lincoln Dr dead ends to the south where it previously connected to Ryan Plaza Dr.

Lamar Blvd lane or lanes closed now Tuesday, September 2 through Tuesday, September 16: The two outside eastbound lanes approaching Cooper Street will be closed for crews to place drainage improvements. Expect delays during peak periods. Seek alternate routes. Crews are placing drainage improvements near Cooper Street bridge.
